Our Network


 

Overview

Our Network and their member General Practices are well placed to take a lead role in protecting and promoting the health and wellbeing of communities.  We comprise an unique infrastructure, covering the length and breadth of the state.

We support contemporary General Practice in Western Australia by linking General Practitioners (GPs) with each other, by supporting practice nurse networks in General Practice and, increasingly, by employing or supporting allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, dieticians and psychologists to be part of the primary care team.
 
No other regional organisation can access and link GPs, other health professionals and the community in the way that our Network does.

The Western Australian General Practice Network has as its members the thirteen Divisions or Networks of General Practice:
