Established in 2005, WA General Practice Network (WAGP Network) is the State Based Organisation (SBO) for the 13 Divisions / Networks of General Practice in Western Australia . Our peak organisation is Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) which is the peak national body representing over 100 Divisions / Networks of General Practice and 7 State Based Organisations across Australia .
WA General Practice Network promotes the central role of Divisions / Networks of General Practice in primary health care by ensuring that key State stakeholders and Divisions work together in a supported environment.
The Western Australian General Practice Network Council, in consultation with the Western Australian Divisions / Networks of General Practice has articulated guiding principles for the operation of Western Australian General Practice Network.
