The West Australian Practice Nurses Association provides a focus for practice nurses and for other groups seeking to make contact and have dialogue with practice nurses. It facilitates professional communication between practice nurses to break down professional isolation and assists members with continuing professional development. The Association develops the role of the practice nurse, liaises with other professional groups, provides opportunities for social contact with professional colleagues and, as required, provides expert opinion on practice nursing.
